    image2011年4月30日，泰国摩诃朱拉隆功大学为了认定新加坡佛学院院长广声大和尚在建立、追求与设立各传播佛法管道以培养僧众及信众做出的贡献，特此给予颁发荣誉博士学位。
    随从观礼的团员有教导长传理法师及19名隶属摩诃朱拉隆功大学本科应届毕业生。典礼后，新加坡佛学院师生一行 ，先后拜访了摩诃朱拉隆功大学及曼谷市内的一些著名佛寺道场。

    On 30 Apr 2011, an entourage of 21 people went for a trip to Thailand which includes our Rector, Ven. Sik Kwang Sheng, Dean of Monastic, Ven. Chuan Li and 19 soon-to-be graduates of Buddhist College of Singapore.
    This trip was invited by the University of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya (MCU) to confer the title of Honorary PhD to our Abbot cum Rector Ven. Sik Kwang Sheng. This conferment was to honour Rector’s efforts in establishing various opportunities among the Sanghas and lay people in the pursuit of propagating the Buddha-Dharma.
